Our investment story is rooted in bold decisions and visionary thinking. Over the decades, the LQS Group has been involved in the early development of key Malaysian industries – from establishing the country’s first tyre plant with Bridgestone Tyres, to helping launch Pan Malaysia Cement and Gula Perak, one of the earliest sugar refineries. Our ventures extended into natural resources with Dolomite Corporation Bhd, once one of the nation’s largest quarry operators and a main board-listed company on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange. We also played a role in setting up one of Malaysia’s earliest palm oil refineries.
